The Greater Bay Area MBS Business Management Competition 2023 aims at promoting academic and cultural exchanges between students from the Greater Bay Area and Hong Kong, deepening the knowledge learnt to the business environment, preparing for future integration into the Greater Bay Area Market and enhancing competitiveness.

Learning Objectives:

1. Participants are encouraged to learn key concepts through the strategic management process including the business workforce, financial awareness, core business functions, accounting and finance principles, and how these concepts are all interconnected to impact business performance.

2. Relate the business strategy and execution of a company in a competitive market and explore the cause and effect relationships between the drivers and business performance.

3. Explain a broad spectrum of business concepts and functions from data analytics processes.

4. Identify the strategic decisions to achieve higher returns and market dominance.

The Competition was held successfully on 1st April 2023 at the Hong Kong Metropolitan University Li Ka Shing School of Professional and Continuing Education (HKMU LiPACE). 48 students from 11 universities and institutions were competing for the winning title. Held in a hybrid mode, the competition catered to delivering the best experience to competitors from Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area (GBA).
