Technology has become an inevitable part of our life. Students nowadays require much more than literacy skills only. To live in the fast moving society today, we must be capable of utilizing  technology to advance our learning. IABMS hopes to help students be equipped to use technology effectively and flexibly to solve daily problems. Therefore, the Junior Entrepreneur Business Management Competition 2023 aims to provide hands-on business experience to the younger generation, especially secondary students, in order to explore their potential abilities to apply business skills and innovation.

The competition would perfectly correspond to the curriculum aims of Business, Accounting, and Financial Studies (BAFS) by offering students with fundamental business knowledge and skills, and develop students' positive values and attitudes (Applications in Qualities of Citizenship, CSRs, Sustainability, and Regulatory compliance)

Students are required to run a virtual convenient store competing with other virtual stores, using "Retail Expert" as the designated competition platform.

The Competition was held successfully on 23rd April 2023 at the Techological and Higher Education Institute of Hong Kong (THEi). 121 students from 16 Secondary Schools were competing for the winning title. Held onsite, the competition catered to delivering the best experience to competitors from Hong Kong.
